• Operating System: Genuine Windows Vista® Business 32-bit; Genuine Windows Vista® Business 64-bit; Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic; Genuine Windows Vista® Business with downgrade to Windows XP Professional custom installed ¹; FreeDOS.

• Multiple cores. Extreme performance. Enjoy new levels of performance and multi-tasking with Intel® Core(TM)2 Extreme and Quad-Core processors ² capable of working in a true 64-bit computing environment and support for up to 8 GB of memory ³.

• Experience life in high-definition. Connect to high-resolution displays with the HDMI port ⁴. Blu-ray Drive ⁵ plays HD content or stores up to 50GB on a DL disc. The eSATA port provides a fast connection to an external storage device ⁶.

• Upgrade Bay with Dual HDD Support. Easily replace your optical with an optional ⁶ secondary SATA II hard drive or upgrade to the next-generation optical drive. Having a second hard drive installed allows RAID 1 Mirroring or RAID 0 Striping ⁷.

¹ Windows Vista Business disk may be included for future upgrade if desired. To qualify for this downgrade an end user must be a business (including governmental or educational institution) and is expected to order annually at least 25 customer systems with the same custom image

² Dual/Quad Core is designed to improve performance of certain software products. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology. 64-bit computing on Intel architecture requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers and applications enabled for Intel® 64 architecture. Processors will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel 64 architecture-enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software configurations. This Notebook PC does not support the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor over-clocking feature

Flawless playback on all systems is not guaranteed. In order for some Blu-ray titles to play, they may require a DVI or HDMI digital connection and your display may require HDCP support. This Blu-ray drive does not support writing to ultra-high speed CDRW media (16X to 32X advertised performance). HD-DVD movies cannot be played on this Notebook PC
